Beginners' Dressmaking Workshops in London and South East

Ever wished that you could just spirit up that cute little dress you saw in the shop in a fabric of your choosing? Well, help is at hand in the shape of Bee's Beginners' Dressmaking Workshop. You will learn how to decipher a printed paper pattern, prepare and cut out fabric and make up a simple sleeveless dress or skirt. You will learn how to set in a zip and, in the case of the skirt, fit a waistband. Tools and notions will be provided. All you've got to do is choose your pattern and fabric. Bee will advise you in fabric and pattern choice and point you in the right direction for where and what to buy.
Classes will cost £65 per person for 5 hours with a minimum of 3 students. All sewing materials, including scissors, pins, needles and threadwill be provided. Sewing machines will be the student's own unless organised otherwise. If you would like individual lessons or with one other person, classes will be scaled up at £120 for one and £95 per person for two.

All workshops are available in London and the South East at a location to be discussed on booking but can be arranged on an individual basis outside these areas. Contact Bee by e-mail at bee_at_home@hotmail.com
